The house has been full of people this week. Carpenters, flooring guys, electricians, heating system workers. It's been a madhouse. Oddly enough, there hasn't been much to photograph, since they're all projects in progress. I should have more to show over the course of this week.

This is the beginning of the tub deck for the master bathroom.

Much to my amusement, the tub has spent the last couple of days on the balcony--so it could be conveniently measured by the carpenters. And you know, I can't help but think that the balcony would be a cool place for it. It has an excellent view, and we could watch movies. Craig would still be able to give his speeches. He could even wave a bath brush around for emphasis when he's making an especially eloquent point.

Here's Ray checking out the motor setup. It's configured so that the motor is in the back once it's installed. Very annoying. It means that if the tub ever breaks down, we have to pull it completely out to fix it. (Can't be reversed. The plumber said so.)

They had to drop the tub into the cutout to see if it fit. After they got it in there, they had to pull it back out again so Nick could start on the tiling. Now the tub is off the balcony and in the master closet. It's a jacuzzi on the go.

I'm pretty sure it will end up in the bathroom eventually.

This is a whole box of the wrong tile. Can you see it mocking me? We did a bit of reconfiguring on the design, and it turns out we can use it anyway.
