Time for the dome to come down. We don't know yet what it's eventual fate will be, but we didn't want it bulldozed. Due to an uncharged battery in the camera, we have no photographic record of the dome frame itself being dismantled. Darren was our hero--he did all the hard stuff, like climbing ladders and balancing fifteen feet in the air with various tools to get the top of the dome frame taken apart. He is CAPTAIN AMAZING!!! We got back together today to finish the job.

The weather forecast said rain so we covered the floor with a tarp overnight.
Gotta move all the stuff so we can dismantle the floor.
Our macho team of helpers: Dad, Craig, Darren, Dave, Paul and Norman.
Lucky us, the floor really DID come apart in pie shaped wedges, just like the website said. The guys carried them away one by one...
...all the way down the hill to stack them behind the shed. Hopefully this is safe from the bulldozers. Nobody wants to move them again, and it's possible that we'll be at Pennsic when they start digging the place up. We covered them with a tarp to keep the weather out.

FINIS!!

Thanks for all your help, guys!
