Hey, remember this? This is the attic. I had big dreams of storing all my costume stuff up here, because it was so close to my studio. Looks nice and roomy, huh?
Hah! Shows what we know. This is what it looks like now. No storage for me. It's chock filled with insulation up to the rafters.

Not to mention ducts, and radon tubes, and wires, and lint vents and...and...other stuff. It looks just like this in all directions.

This attic is no good to me, except to store all the stuff that other people will eventually need to repair. Nobody goes into this attic unless they plan to fix something.
