MISTER DED

He's gonna need hooves. How else will he wander around and kick people?

So, it's time to cut the legs out AGAIN--two sets for each leg. (That's a whole lotta horse legs.) This time, we're using hard foam. This will be glued to each side of the wood, and filed down to look like 3-dimensional bones.

That's assuming I'm a decent sculptor. They COULD look like big foam cutouts...

Eric added bent conduit supports for extra strength.
So I had to cut grooves out of the foam. It's a messy job. I have about an inch of styrofoam "snow" on the floor of my workshop.
Now I have a nice set of cotton-candy-pink legs to start carving, as soon as the glue sets. (Fortunately, pink is one of the most fear-inspiring colors known to man.)
