Craig has the tougher job when we set up. Because the jacks are upside down, he has to apply pressure UP when we raise the walls. Although slightly less convenient for him, it's very safe.

 

After we have the top up, four stainless steel machinery pins are fitted through holes drilled in the metal support poles. They take the weight of the walls while we camp. In this photo you can also see the V-strut that enables us to just use the one jack at the front of the wagon.

Another detail: note the string holding all the drawers closed. This is necessary during the drive to keep them from opening and flinging our belongings all over the floor.
