At this point its identity crisis began anew, as I painted it P.B. pink (it was the only primer I had)...

And finally green. I'm only showing you all of this because on this kind of project, the little things--like the door--don't just happen. Sometimes it's a royal pain to do something that seems inconsequential. Often there's a lot of planning and elbow grease necessary where you wouldn't expect it.

Later we installed it here, into this doorway which was ALSO a royal pain. Fortunately Norman and I did one very like this before, so my input was helpful here.
